A-Rod's plane skids off runway

No, I'm not kidding. Thankfully he and nobody else on the plane were hurt, but what a strange story.

Needless to say, I still support our trading him ASAP.

I was a believer when the trade happened.

Three years later, I've seen enough to tell me "the greatest player in baseball" resides in St. Louis, MO and is currently facing the NY Mets. I'm tired of the circus that is A-Rod.

Adam, you're on this Pujols thing. So what if he's better? Then Alex is the second best player in the game.

No. The second-best player just finished an historic season for the Washington Nationals and is a free-agent awaiting a very large contract.

(zing!)

Haha. I win either way. My friend, give A-Rod a chance. I'm not sure we can get someone or a combo as valuable as him. And if we can, I'm with you. But I don't think we need to approach this with a firesale attitude, and I know you don't either.

I didn't hear about this Lyons thing! I have to read more about this. I do think Steve Lyons is an merciless flake and he's unwatchable/listenable. But it also seems like he was completely joking. Maybe they were looking to get rid of him.

Pinella, for his part, is a *really* bad color man. He sounds so unintelligent that I'm almost surprised he's such a good manager.

Dan, those numbers are compared to MLB 3rd baseman?
