Trading Deadline, How About Good Moves This Year?

This maybe old (at top to) new but it's brief and nobody else is posting so deal with it.

Alex Rodriguez maybe in line for another $200 million contract
Posada will be waiting until the end of the season to negotiate
Andy Phillips is the answer at 1B, pack you bags Mienkietwicz and Giambi. Your services are no longer required.

Yankees eye Wilson Betemit - but why? It sure can't be his numbers. They suck worse then a whore with no spit. He's hitting .232 10 hr 26 rbi. Career .263 hitter 32 hr 102 rbi.

Jon Garland coming? This ok but his only claims to fame are: being on the Bernie Mac show and winning a World Series, in that order. 4.15 era 7-7 58k in 132.1 ip. Career 4.41 89-75 721 k in 1352.2 ip.

Farnsworth maybe sent to Detroit where he will to only throw a fastball and continue to miss the plate.

Damon maybe sent packing. Maybe the Pirates or some lousy team will take him so A. we never hear what the team does, which leads to B. we never hear if he's still playing.

Kei Igawa, he could drop out of the Yanks rotation with Hughes on the way. What else needs to be said he sucks.

Wil Nieves, designated for assignment Sunday, decided to report to S/WB. Really, where else would he go? It was either AAA or retirement to be a shepherd on Mypos.

Yeah, I know this has been long. So be it. Nobody else is posting. Now if someone posts tomorrow after this gets no comments there will be trouble.

Abreu was a good move last year, Daniel. It's our off season moves that kill us.

I agree, Steiner. At this point, I'd sooner keep Torre and empty out the front office of Cashman and his crew.

Unless you think Torre and Cash consult with eachother on baseball moves. If that's the case...
