Bombers Bursting

19-1. Chacon is a dead man walking. Basically, the Yankees need both a bat and an arm to compete in the division, and soon, and we'd have to sell the family farm to get them. And it might not be enough anyway.

In its current depleted state, this team just isn't very good.

You're right, the team isn't that good. But let's not lose faith so quickly like we did last year.

We're only three back, and don't forget how hot Boston was. They normally don't play that well. And considering how well they played, and how little the margin we're behind, I consider us lucky.

The Yankees will fight tooth and nail, scrap, and we'll be right there come playoff time. AND I'm sure Ole Stein is cooking something up, some blockbuser. And Matsui will be back just in time to lift us to first.

Have faith gentlemen, we ain't dead yet.

Gentlemen, I have returned!

Steiner speaks the truth, we need a stick and an arm. I saw a very good performance by some young players tonight-- but this is not the NY Yankees, this is some scrappy AL Central team with no payroll!

Let's set loose the dogs and acquire Dontrelle Willis and Barry Bonds! Go, Cashman! Go and be like the Phoenix! Help us all rise again!!!!
