Your Yankees 2008 Coaching Staff

Hitting coach Kevin Long and first-base coach Tony Pena will return, Dave Eiland has been promoted to pitching coach, Rob Thomson becomes the new bench coach, third-base coach Bobby Meacham, and bullpen coach Mike Harkey
I was worried that Joe wouldn't get the elite coaches. With calling up Eiland for that no good Guidry and getting Meacham to replace the turncoat only shows, this Joe, knows what he's doing.

Eiland is supposedly a great coach and the young guys love him.

Hank seems thrilled to death on what he's accomplished, but we are only back to square one. We've got a bunch of huge holes, including the deep, black, gaping one in between the starter and Mariano Rivera (with Joba in the rotation).

And if Andy retires, our rotation is literally the fourth best in the division. Bedard, Guthrie, Loewen and Cabrera won't be a push-over rotation next season.

The bullpen needs an overhaul. I don't know if I like Joba in the rotation. 60-80 games of 1-2 innings or 30-35 games of 6 innings. Either way there's a void.

Now Shelly Duncan had emergency surgery for a blood clot.

This team is doomed.
