Mo is finished

I don't think he's finished. I think he's lost some command, and the fact that he doesn't pitch often doesn't help. But I think he'll find his groove and have stretches of dominance this season.

But considering his age, his days at a top five closer in the game are probably done. But I think he can still be top ten.

I think you nailed the point- he's probably not throwing nearly enough. How many appearances has he made so far this season? Looking at his stats now, Mo has pitches 10 and 1/3 innings so far in 2007. Al Reyes of the Devil Rays has pitched 15 innings. The same for Chris Ray on the O's. Papelbon has thrown 12 and a third innings. So, Mo isn't completely out of range from those guys, but if you think about the ratio now, that will start to add up throughout the season. I'm in favor of Mo throwing 3 times a week to get him back to form. If that works... who knows. It's that one slight loss of movement on that cut fastball that seems to make all the difference.
