TORRE

What kind of danger do you think Joe is in? And how many of you support his prompt termination? I definitley don't want this to explode into our third TAJT blog free for all, but are there any thoughts on Torre so far this season and his future?

I cannot stand Joe Torre, that much is obvious. But Joe is not doing much differently as far as I can see so far this year. He still mismanages the bullpen, (which is already exhausted after a month of play) and Torre still plays favorites. But the Yanks don't have any starting pitching and that's why they are losing games. And they've endured some bad luck too with injuries and fluke loses. And Mo has not been effective.

A wise man once said "too bad A-Rod can't pitch!" That might be the catchphrase of the season in The Bronx.

How can we blame TAJT for what's been going on?

We have awful starting pitching, therefore the bullpen gets called on for more innings. Let us remember, although he is an apostle, Joe Torre isn't our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He can't heal the wounded.

Let's see what Joe can do when the Yanks are healthy again, if that's possible.

You dislike Torre that much? Well, at least you now love A-Rod.

I don't think Torre is to blame, but I still think he's on a short leash. All things considered, George did give him a pass last season, and there just aren't any room for excuses now. It's do or die.

If he is fired, I will mourn him for the great things he's done, but I won't be angry as I would have been last October. I'm just sick of losing, I guess.

And if we get swept this weekend, with our big three going, Joe is done.

ESPN says Igawa is officially out of the rotation... Who does that leave? Wang, Pettite, Mussina (on Wednesday), Hughes...and?

Bro, what can Torre do? The starters are not delivering. The bullpen has given up runs but they're also pitching longer and more often than a bullpen should. I can't say blame Torre. 3 starters get hurt. 2 were question marks to being with.

Everyone needs to step up and now.

I dislike TAJT, but I don't blame him for our woes. That was my point.
