Is this surprising? Giambi learned from the best - McGwire. He can only play have the game since he can't bend down to get a grounder. Now he can't hit.

It can be argued that Giambi was the start of the downfall of the Yankees. Since he arrived in 2002 the Yankees have won zero World Series.

Coincidence?

Brian Cashman and George Steinbrenner combined to push some boneheaded acquisitions. The consistency of their poor decision-making is the root cause of the Yanks' misfortunes.

I am pleased to say that you cannot buy a championship. Hopefully this insane fad of making overrated talent extremely wealthy will come to an end.

I thought I understood the MLB drug policy, but I guess I don't. I thought the first positive drug test was an automatic 10 day suspension. I guess it's different with greenies. I also like the timing of this leak. That'll learned him to say stupid things.
