The end of the Mighty Clippers

This just seems so strange. I've been so used to looking up Clipper stats. Still, this might be nice. They could choose a team closer, or in a nicer climate that would be better to visit.

Oh, don't you know where they are headed? Scranton, PA!

The Red Barons, Phillies AAA team, is moving closer to Philly and the city says it has a read on another AAA team. I think it will likely be the Clippers.

Sadly, I'm no longer a Yankee fan, so it don't make a damn of difference.

Adam, you're a champ in that regard. But not in the talent evaluation department:

Soriano:

45-91-110-40-.290

He would probably be the MVP on a team over .500.

I'm not as perfect as others, Steiner.

Well, I believe I said the Yankees were finished in July, so I'm no better.

I saw an interview with Sheffield on Saturday and decided to be a Yankee fan again. He's such a gamer. That's doesn't mean our lineup isn't excessive, though. If the Yankees can't win it all this year, Steinbrenner should use his ivory handled revovler on himself.

We're still vulnerable with starting pitching. Who knows when that 56 year-old Randy Johnson will implode? And we have no 4th starter. It's not 1998, not by a long shot.

True, but our competition is also far weaker. There is no Cleveland out there ready to bump us off. You never know in a short series, but I think our odds will be as good as any year since 1998. It will be interesting to see what they will be going into the postseason.
