Bean the Burger

I have been saying for two years now that somebody on the Yankee staff needs to just put a high hard one into the belly of this cheeseburger eating freak. He stands over the plate like an 800 pound gorilla (of which he resembles in this picture) and has absolutely no fear that Yankee pitchers will brush him back. Ideally, his first time up to the plate Unit should just unleash a fastball (of what will be clocked around 91) and send cheeseburger charlie to the ground. Check out the linked article which most likely expresses this better than I.

Here is the link -- apparently my blogging skills aren't yet up to the appropriate level

The umps are such wusses now, they would probably throw the pitcher out of the game. In Bob Gibson's day, he could hit three people in a row, then strike out the next three batters because they were busy pissing themselves. Now, Gibson wouldn't be allowed to throw inside.

Where is Adam Cohen? Does he not have internet at home?

Unit should definitely brush him back, just like he did Kruk in the allstar game.

I just came back from the game that I believe is still in progress (I don't know for sure because I choose not to find out what vomit tastes like tonight). What a pitiful display by so many players. Unit, A-Rod, Melky, Bernie, etc. I maintain I have a man-crush on Giambi because he is a truly special person and we should all get on bended knee before G-d and thank him for this gift. Otherwise, we're in serious trouble and should be looking directly at the Red Sox as the team that has stolen our mojo (this starting immediately after game 7 of the 2003 ALCS). The Curse is truly reversed. We looked like a bunch of stiffs out there tonight.

Pitiful.

Something is seriously wrong with Randy Johnson. Aaron Small needs to be sent down or just retire because he had a career year and is at vest a triple a pitcher. I cannot understand why Bubba gets screwed out of filling in for Sheffield and instead Melky I cannot catch a fly ball Cabrera gets thrown in.

Cohen is right -- the Red Sux own us

The Yankees are one game down, tied in the lost column.

Sans souci.
