Sadly, it's our hitting that is our weakness, not our pitching which has, for the msot part, been solid.
Anybody watch Posada's at-bat against K-Rod last night? I saw visions of a lemming jumping off a cliff...

Between Tony's remarks about Giambi and my complaints about Posada, after today's game I am convinced that we need to selectively bitch about certain players; apparently this group of fans motivate them to do better!
Steiner's power is everywhere.

They scored too many runs today. My Dad is always mad when they blow a team out by huge amounts. They need to save their hits for when they need them. I think he's still bitter about the World Series when they loss to the Pirates, when they killed them every other game, but lost 4 close games.
That seem silly on its face, but there are limits to how much a player produces in a season. It isn't definite, of course, but there might be something to that. Call it a metaphysical rendering, if you will.
Seriously, I have the Anna Benson haiku ready to go. Just give the word...
