Jeter's glove

Interesting article. I can never figure out all of these defensive statistics. Jeter does seem to make the big play when needed (although he has a brainfart more often than I would like). People claim that he has terrible range, but it's very hard to eyeball that.

Even to the naked eye, it's obvious that Jeter does not have the range of many of his peers. But he does got the hooch, yeah. He got the only sweetest thing in the world.

And that's enough for this Yankee fan.

I am not going to defend Jeter blindly... nbut a pox on your house for calling him slow. You try to outrun a slow-hopper after a night full of bitches and apple martinis. This man is a legend.

Could these statistics nerds find a way to make baseball less fun? What about the sheer joy of watching Jeter make that throw from the hole. You all know what I'm talking about...it is poetry in motion. Can we just watch the game and enjoy it and not turn everything into amortization tables?
