I understand. Many of you were probably watching sci-fi reruns or simply unaware that the World Series was on (or what it was) when Alex Gonzalez hit the homerun off Jeff Weaver in the bottom of the 12th that turned the tide of the 2003 World Series. Midgets or tits anyone?
See, I blamed Weaver, not Gonzalez for that homerun. Weaver deserves vengeance. Alex has been rewarded with years of mediocrity since that fateful day. And you have the nerve to rip on us watching sci-fi? Coming from you, who has quoted a Klingon quoting Shylock in this very post! We are betrayed!
