Please don't trade Melky

Why are they discussing this? Haven't the Yankees learned that we need to keep are young players?

There is no place for him. I love the kid, but there is just no place for him unless someone goes down. I don't like grading him for this Pirate, but it would be silly to see him to spend the season as a fourth outfielder. And there is no opening next year either.

Dan, I read your post and stored away the info. I took it more as a summary of Yankee news than as an attempt to start conversation. If you do want to start conversation, the best way is to ask a question or express an opinion on a specific point, so people have something to respond to.

Every year, at least one of our outfielders misses signifigant time. Melky will most likely play a good amount of the year.
