With the backups of Pavano, Humberto Sanchez, Karstens and maybe Hughes. Looks like we may be cooking up some sort of a trade. I mean, if Lilly and Pettitte get signed, we need to make some moves to clean out the cupboard.
I think it's a good signing for the Cubs. Ted should be even better in the NL, and he's durable. A little pricey, true, but it coudl work out for them.

I also can't believe that lilly got 10 million a year. The cubs really don't want to make it 0 for 100 next year.
I liked ted at 7-8 mill for 3 years.
