For as bad and injury plagued as our pitching has been, the Red Sox have been worse. Beckett has an ERA of 5.27, Clement a whopping 6.68, and the Wells/Dinardo combination over 7.00. Today, against the Yankees, the Sox will start David Pauley, who has one miserable major league start to his name.

Another great game tonight, and Melky is building his legend with plays like that game-saving catch off Manny's bat. Wow, that was an exciting play. We gotta buckle down, we won a tight one and that's good. We still have two more to go... amazing that without 3 of our top 5 batters in the order and we're still putting together victories. Wang threw a heck of a game too. Got the monkey off his back with his first win v. Boston. The first of many, Wang!
Cohen, you have time to post on this blog. How about paying a little more attention to our fantasy league.
You've sat two pitchers on your bench for the last two weeks. And don't tell me that you're withholding their playing time because of the teams they're facing. You started Elarton against the Yankess on May 26th (and he won).
You're not out of it by any means. The front four have been losing points for the last seven days (give or take).
Even your poor brother, whom of which can barely climb out of the cellar, is showing COURAGE. COURAGE certainly worth admiring.
I implore you to take up arms and get back in this thing.
John Henry, looking at your point total, you better hope Pop Fisher isn't out of it.
Also, it gives me great pleasure to welcome Yuniesky (aka I Miss Vernon) to the Glorious Top Three.
GratuitousNameChange won't be there for long.
