Yankees Set To Conquer China

Interesting article about the Yankees involvement in China. Also, it was great to hear good news about Bobby Murcer. If you read the article from Dan's post, he really comes across as a humble, honest and all-around great guy. I was always a fan of his folksiness and easy manner as a broadcaster even though he wasn't the best play-by-play type guy. I hope he will be back in the booth this year like he says.

If the Yankees can corner the Chinese market watch out. You're telling me there are not a few gems with approx. 500 million males?

They may want to try another species next. Once the Yankees move on the Chinese market other teams will follow. It will be just like Latin America.

I hear there is this Gorilla that can throw 9 different pitches all for strikes. Scott Boras represents him and wants 10,000 bananas before every game he pitches.

Gorillas ain't human beings, they ain't that typology...they ain't that ilk.

I've strongly concur with Critch's sentiments on Murcer. He contrasted nicely with the stern Kaat and the friendly but substantial Singleton. It's good to know he's progressing.

As for the Chinese, does John Edwards know about this? Maybe he can meet with the Players' Union and organize some sort of sit in.

In other news, it appears that Pavano's hips are beginning to loosen.

My Gorilla comment was in reference to if the Yankees go there then other teams will follow and deplete the talent like Latin America.

As far as China is concerned, Mr. Spock said it best. "Only Nixon could go to China."

Dan, I know, I was just being silly. Cool out, my main man. We're all brothers-in-arms here.
