What an absurd waste of time. Erickson hasn't has only had one ERA below 6.00 since 2000, and that was a 5.55. And even when he was a good pitcher he wasn't a good picther.
This is a replay of the Nomo situation. He lingers in the minors with the kids, gets to play baseball for peanuts and then when its all said and done, never gets any action in the bigs. Does this signing mean that the Yanks are worried about more than just Pavano's health? Now that is a scary idea.
